Each week adds another part of the application, progressing from Dart and interface construction to backend integration, testing and release preparation.

Dart syntax, null safety, functions, classes, collections, asynchronous work, Flutter setup, emulators and device testing.

Flutter widgets and responsive layouts

Stateless and stateful widgets, constraints, scrolling, forms, themes, reusable UI and responsive phone and tablet layouts.

State and application architecture

Local state, shared state, asynchronous data, separation of concerns and use of an appropriate state-management approach.

Navigation, routing and user flows

Screen navigation, parameters, nested flows, guarded routes, bottom navigation and introductory deep linking.

Backend APIs and authentication

API concepts, authentication flows, tokens, request handling, validation, error responses and application integration.

Persistence and offline behaviour

Local databases, secure storage, caching, remote persistence, synchronisation and offline-aware interface states.

Notifications and real-time features

Push-notification concepts, live data, messaging patterns, background events and permission handling.

Testing, debugging and performance

Widget tests, integration tests, debugging, profiling, rendering performance, application size and common mobile failure states.

Release preparation and capstone

App signing, production configuration, store assets, privacy information, release builds, submission workflow and final project presentation.

The programme explains the submission process and prepares the application for review, but final publication depends on developer accounts, platform policies and approval by the relevant store.

What remains external

before starting.

Previous mobile-development experience is not required. Basic programming familiarity is useful, but the course introduces the required Dart foundations.
